These Terms & Conditions apply specifically to purchases made through Scoops Co by CR&CO and operate alongside the CR&CO Master Terms & Conditions.
1. Product Nature
Scoops Co offers:
Mystery Scoops (assorted items selected at random)
Pre-Loved Book Scoops (second-hand books)
All Scoops are curated but not custom-selectable. By purchasing, you acknowledge that contents will vary and outcomes are based on chance and availability.
2. No Change-of-Mind Refunds
Due to the nature of Scoops Co products:
❌ No change-of-mind refunds ❌ No exchanges based on personal preference ❌ No refunds for duplicates or unexpected contents
This applies to:
Mystery Scoops
Pre-Loved Book Scoops
Clearance or discounted items
3. When Refunds May Apply
We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
Refunds, replacements, or remedies may be provided where required by law if:
A product has a major failure
An item is damaged prior to dispatch
A product is significantly not as described
Minor cosmetic wear, age-related book condition, or second-hand characteristics do not constitute faults.
4. Pre-Loved Book Scoops
Books included in Pre-Loved Book Scoops are second-hand and may show normal signs of use.
Refunds for book scoops apply only in cases of major undisclosed faults as defined under the ACL.
5. Shipping & Delivery
Shipping is available within Australia only
Orders are dispatched via Australia Post or equivalent couriers
Delivery timeframes are estimates only
We are not responsible for carrier delays, loss, or damage beyond obligations under the ACL
Risk in goods transfers to the customer once dispatched (unless otherwise required by law)
6. Product Representation
We make reasonable efforts to describe items accurately.
Please note:
Colours may vary due to lighting or screen differences
Pre-loved items may include wear consistent with second-hand condition
Mystery Scoops are intentionally varied and unpredictable
7. Licensed or Character-Based Items
Unless explicitly stated:
Character-themed items are inspired products
Scoops Co is not affiliated with brand owners
Official licensed merchandise will be clearly identified where applicable
8. Order Cancellation
Scoops Co reserves the right to cancel orders due to:
Stock availability errors
Suspected fraud
Incorrect pricing or system issues
Where cancellation occurs, refunds will be issued in accordance with the ACL.
