Our Policy

Scoops Co by CR&CO complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the ACL.

1. No Change-of-Mind Refunds

Unless required under the ACL, we do not offer change-of-mind refunds for:

  • Mystery Scoops

  • Pre-Loved Book Scoops

  • Clearance or final-sale items

  • This applies regardless of payment method used, including Buy Now Pay Later services.

These products are either randomised or second-hand and are not eligible for change-of-mind returns.

2. When Refunds Are Available

You may be entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair where required under the ACL if an item:

  • Is faulty

  • Is not as described

  • Has a major failure (as defined by the ACL)

  • Is significantly different from the product listing

We may request proof of the issue, such as photographs or additional details. Scoops Co by CR&CO may retain dispatch records, including photographs, to assist with quality assurance, order verification, and the resolution of customer enquiries.

3. Pre-Loved Book Scoops

Pre-Loved Book Scoops contain second-hand books and may show signs of normal use, age, or wear.

Refunds or replacements are only available for major, undisclosed faults and do not apply to minor cosmetic imperfections or general second-hand condition.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or replacement, please contact us with:

  • Your full name

  • Your order number

  • A description of the issue

  • Photos of the item (where applicable)

5. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method used at checkout.

Where a return is required, instructions will be provided. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is confirmed to have a major fault under the ACL.
